Law enforcement agencies from around Mercer County will hold training sessions and exercises on the Princeton University campus Thursday, Aug. 9.
The Princeton Department of Public Safety will host the event, part of a series of monthly trainings organized by the Mercer County Rapid Response Partnership (MCRRP).
Representatives from about 15 agencies, including University DPS officers, will take part in classroom sessions in the afternoon and in an incident response drill that will be held at Princeton Stadium in the evening. The stadium will be closed from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 6, signs will be posted around the stadium alerting people to the drill. On the day of the drill, numerous law enforcement vehicles will be parked near the stadium.
