Featured Image Lede Students currently living in housing are eligible to apply for housing or may be eligible for retention of housing for the following academic year. Description Graduate students are eligible for housing for the duration of their program length, however, not all students will be successful in maintaining residence for the duration of their program. Housing priority in the room draw and assignment process is given to those students in their earlier years of study. The annual housing draw process, which takes place each year from February through April, determines whether a student will be able to maintain on-campus residence and is designed to encourage students to retain their rooms or apartments for the next year. As a graduate student at Princeton, you can expect to live on campus for your first three years if you maintain your current residence. Depending on the availability and results of the draw process, you may be able to remain in your apartment longer. All students within their program lengths are encouraged to apply for room draw so that they may be automatically put on the housing wait list if they are not successful in getting a room or apartment through the draw process. Additionally, students who are in their fourth year and above may want to consider utilizing various resources that are made available to locate a house or apartment off-campus. Be sure to take advantage of the listings on the Off-Campus Housing website maintained by Housing and Real Estate Services.
