Construction of two new Residential Colleges south of Poe Field has begun and will continue until the Summer of 2022. The site is fully enclosed and any pedestrian traffic should divert to Elm Drive or the path adjacent to the Neuroscience building. Construction activities will occur between 7am and 6:00pm on weekdays and 7:00am and 3:30pm on Saturdays. By Fall 2020, day to day construction will have shifted to steel erection and other structural work with cranes.
New meal plan introduced for 2020-21
In 2017, Princeton completed its first comprehensive review of meal plans in more than a decade. After considering recommendations from student focus groups and surveys, the following changes intended to address value and simplicity will be introduced this fall.
Meal Plan Options
Two plans will be available: Unlimited and a new Block 105. At $2,850, the Block 105 Plan is less expensive and offers greater per meal value compared to any of the current block plans. The Block 105 Plan will be the only block plan offered and will be available only to juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
The Shared Meal Plan will continue to be available to members of eating clubs.
Fall and Spring Recess Plans
Beginning with the fall recess, students will be able to use both the Unlimited and Block 105 plans for single-swipe entry during fall and spring recess. Those on a meal plan will not need to register for a separate plan during these breaks.
