Foulke Hall is one of several dormitories built as the student body grew just after World War I. Foulke and neighboring Henry Hall were erected on the site of the former Pennsylvania Railroad station just southwest of Blair Hall and formed the “Western Wall” of the University in the 1920s. The building was financed with donations made in honor of classmates lost in the war.
