How to Request Early Arrival Please make every effort to plan your arrival for the official move-in date since most requests for individual early arrival cannot be accommodated. Some helpful reminders from the Early Arrival Policy Committee (EAPC) Early arrivals are only approved for undergraduate students who are participating in an official University orientation or pre-orientation program.Approved early arrival group sponsors submit the names of their participating students who are eligible for early arrival. If you are part of a pre-approved early arrival group, you will not be approved for any date earlier than your group's approved date. Please keep in mind that Academic Year Sign-in is an online process, and the Sign-in Date (issued by the Registrar) is NOT the official move-in date. The move-in date for all sophomores, juniors and seniors is Saturday, August 31, 2024.Move-in for incoming students (Class of 2028) is Friday, August 23, 2024. Student Groups and Athletes If you belong to a student group or are a member of an athletic team that is required to arrive on campus prior to the first-year or upperclass arrival dates, only a department or office sponsor can request early arrival for your group using the Early Arrival Group Request Form (Princeton NetID and password required). The request must be approved prior to arrival. Individual Requests If you are requesting early arrival to campus prior to the first-year or upperclass arrival dates, but are not associated with an approved student group or an approved University Athletic team, you can submit your individual request using the Early Arrival Individual Student Request Form (Princeton NetID and password required). Applications will be reviewed, but are usually only approved in rare instances. Questions? For more information contact the Early Arrival Policy Committee at [email protected].
