Shared Block 95 (eating club members only - billed by the club)
If you chose a room in one of the four-year Residential Colleges and are a registered member of an eating club, Shared Block 95 could be for you. It allows for 95 meals per semester in a campus dining hall, ten of which may be used for guests. Block 95 meals reset at the beginning of the semester. No credit is given for unused meals.
The annual cost is determined by each eating club and the number of participants is limited by the club. You should ask your club leadership for shared meal plan information.
If you want to select the Shared Block 95 plan, submit an application for the Butler, Whitman and/or Mathey College room draws. My Housing for Undergraduates will allow you to select the shared meal plan for your club, unless the club’s maximum has been reached. At that point the shared plan will no longer be available and My Housing for Undergraduates will not display it.
Alternatively, you may live in a Residential College and purchase at least the Block 95 meal plan for your college in addition to your eating club’s meal plan. Or, you may choose a room in the regular Upperclass Room Draw and your club’s meal plan.
If you have questions about selecting a shared meal plan contact your club directly.
Juniors & Seniors Only
Extra Two Meals
Two Extra Meals is a University program intended to encourage juniors and seniors to stay connected to their residential colleges. Administered by Campus Dining, the program credits two extra meals per week to all juniors and seniors for use in a residential dining hall regardless of whether or not they have purchased a meal plan.
Two Extra Meals cannot be used for seders at the Center for Jewish Life or for Lunch to Go.
The program begins Monday, September 16, 2019. Students with block meal plans can expect to see the two extra meals (30 meals per semester) reflected in their meal plan balance within the first two weeks of each semester.
The week begins with Sunday brunch and ends with Saturday dinner.
Converting to a Flexible Block 30
If you do not have a meal plan, you may consider the Flexible Block 30 plan, which converts your two extra meals into a plan that offers more flexibility. A charge of $210 per semester applies. If you would like this plan, please send us an email at email@example.com with this request. Please include your name and puid number.
